Cute Kids
So we went to Sears and had some new portraits of the kids taken and some of just McKinley for her 1 year portrait. We were able to get some pretty good shots considering that kids will be kids and no one seems to look at the camera at the same time and babies are only happy for so long during photo shoots. So here are my favorites of my sweet, cute kiddos.

Back Home
Well we have returned from our week long trip to California to visit my family. My sister had her baby which was a real surprise...she had a beautiful boy, not a girl like we all thought was coming. So McKinley has now has a new wardrobe of super cute clothes. And I went baby boy shopping so little Lane Mitchel would have something to wear home from the hospital. It was a surprise to everyone but a lovely one, he is a healthy beautiful little man. We also got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa for a few days and all the snow where they live. We are excited to be home and now are trying to get over colds that we picked up along the way!

Happy St. Patty's!
So this morning the boys woke up to a leprechaun adventure. They followed green footprints from their room to the living room where they found a rainbow on the window and a pot of gold at the end. They loved the green pancakes we made for breakfast and made sure we didn't forget the green sprinkles. McKinley even got in on the action, she loves pancakes! Happy Green day everyone!

First timer
So this is my first post as a blogger. I decided it would be fun to try to do this...finally! I am a little late jumping on the blogging wagon. So please, any advice would be greatly needed and appreciated! Here is a pic of my "simple country life" family. We love being able to live out on the family farm. It is a total different way of life from what I grew up knowing. And I think our kids are blessed getting to grow up this way. Tractor rides with dad, working cows, and feeding baby calves (plus tons more). All of which we do on a regular basis. We may live the simple life but it sure is a busy life!
